Upper Salmon Creek Timber Sale

This timber sale is scheduled for auction on July 26th. The timber sale drains to Salmon Creek which flows into Discovery Bay. SEPA comments are due next Tuesday, May 30th. This timber sale does stand out as having some of the oldest and most structurally complex lowland forests on the north end of the Olympic Peninsula. According to DNR’s forest inventory data, the unit 1 is 112 years old.
